I've called Frederick County Maryland home since 1978 -- when my father decided Montgomery County was too crowded.  (If he could only see it now!)  I have lived in Frederick ever since and I've seen it grow and change over the years. I absolutely love being part of this growing, thriving community. I live here with my husband Dave, our two daughters, Cara and Hailey, and our dog Piper.

My father was a very talented amateur photographer back in the '70's and I spent plenty of time with him both in front of his lens and in his darkroom while he was developing film. Photography is still one of my favorite things to discuss with him, and he's probably still my biggest fan!

As my daughters grow, I've found that photography helps me to freeze moments in time, and press the pause button in a life that moves so quickly. I hope my images help you remember both the little moments and big events in your life in equal measure.
